We arrive at every wedding with a full production crew — second shooters, assistants, and a content creator — all connected via radios and earwigs, moving with the precision of a film set. Our Cinematic Story Session is your engagement experience reimagined. Shot on a RED camera — the same cinema-grade equipment used on Netflix productions — your love story is captured as a short documentary film. Not a highlight reel. Not a slideshow. A cinematic short film that tells the story of who you are together, crafted with the same intentionality we bring to every Sunset Story.

Yes. Cinematic wedding films are available exclusively as part of a Sunset Stories photography and film package. Our photo and video teams have worked together for years — we know each other, we trust each other, and we move together seamlessly on your wedding day. That history and communication is something you simply cannot manufacture. We do not offer video as a standalone service because the magic lives in the two teams working as one unified creative force — and we're not willing to compromise that for anyone.

We believe your images deserve to live beyond a screen. We are currently curating a collection of the finest luxury print and album partners — because only the best will do for a Sunset Story. We will notify our clients as soon as our luxury print collections are available.

We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 12 to 18 months in advance for peak season dates. Sunset Stories accepts a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives our full attention and the experience they deserve. Popular dates fill quickly.

If Jonathan is unavailable for your date, one of our incredibly talented associate photographers may be available. Our associates are hand picked, highly experienced, and held to the same Sunset Stories standard. If no one on our team is available for your date, we will let you know honestly — we do not refer out to other photographers, as there is simply no one we can confidently recommend on your behalf. We would rather be honest with you than send you somewhere we can't stand behind.

Absolutely. While we are based in Tampa Bay, Florida, we are available for destination weddings worldwide. Travel fees may apply depending on location. We love nothing more than taking a great love story somewhere extraordinary.

Our collections are as unique as the stories we tell. Pricing is shared during the application process so we can better understand your vision and recommend the experience that's right for you.

It begins with your story. We ask you to share who you are, how you met, and what makes your love story worth telling. Jonathan personally reviews every application to ensure we are the right fit for each other. If selected, we will reach out within one week to schedule a consultation. We are as selective about who we work with as you are about who tells your story.

We do not work from shot lists. When you hire Sunset Stories, you are trusting us to tell your story our way — with our eye, our instincts, and our artistry. We will of course capture all of your important family formals and key moments. But the magic happens in the unscripted frames, and that is where we live.

Your full gallery will be delivered within 30 days of your wedding day. Because every image is carefully edited with the same intentionality we bring to the shoot itself — your story deserves nothing less.
